Principal's Message

Welcome to Blandford School! I am June Sakaue, proud principal of Blandford Elementary. As you get to know our school or visit our campus, you will find that Blandford is a special place where everything we do, we do with HEART!

Our shared beliefs and values are the foundation to our promise to our students. We are dedicated to educating the whole child by creating a learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic success of all students.

We are committed to providing academic experiences for our students that are rigorous and relevant, while making real-world connections. Our students are full of wonder and questions, and we are here to inspire and spark a curiosity that empowers students to think and learn for themselves. It is important to prepare our students to think critically, collaborate with others, develop solutions to problems, and ask questions so they are motivated to learn, become leaders, and be change agents that make a positive impact to our school, our community, and the future ahead.

Alongside our staff, the dedication of our parent groups such as Parent Teacher Association (PTA), School Site Council (SSC), and English Language Advisory Council (ELAC) has been an integral part of our school. Our strong partnerships between talented students, supportive parents and families, and dedicated staff help create a unique family environment at our school.
